I love working out, and I’d like to help others get the same feeling. Building muscle, getting stronger, getting healthier… what can be better?
The road to my current blissful state wasn’t idyllic. I started working out as a teenager to bulk up my string bean frame. I weighed a buck thirty-five soaking wet coming out of high school, and at 5′9″, I’m sure you can imagine how embarrassing that was for a young guy.
I’ve tried countless supplements and workout programs over the years. It wasn’t until last year that everything clicked.
I’m still not the biggest guy in the gym, but that’s really not my goal any more. Now that I’ve been able to put on some size – enough for people to know that I’ve seen the inside of a gym – my priorities have changed. Being strong, lean, and flexible are also important now, not just getting huge.
I’ve learned a lot that I’m hoping to pay forward by building this site. I’ve been lucky enough to learn a lot about what it takes to build muscle.
The process is different for everyone. We all have different biological strengths and weaknesses. So be willing to experiment and have an open mind. What works wonders for others but fails on you is just another stepping stone to your ultimate body.
Take the information here and use it for your benefit. Stay curious about what works for your body and what doesn’t. And most importantly, keep having fun in the gym.
Sincerely,
Jace
